Luis is a Junior Robotics Engineer at Third Insight, who joined in September 2021. He graduated from University of Texas Rio Grande Valley with a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science in 2019. During his undergraduate studies, he became the lead of the Avionics Team of the University’s Rocket Club where he built and designed a live telemetry GUI feed of all of the rocket’s sensors using radio signals. He and his team partook in a University level, world-wide rocketry competition in Spaceport New Mexico in the 10,000ft category.

Luis now conducts extensive testing on all the autonomous vehicles by editing and fine-tuning all of the components of the vehicles on both the hardware and software side to get the most accurate performance
